A platform for excellence

Participation across the range of opportunities on offer at the College is fundamental to a Bradfield education. Our pupils throw themselves into co-curricular activity with enthusiasm and learn about themselves whilst honing skills and developing interests which will remain with them throughout adult life. 

Pupils regularly go on to outstanding achievement at regional and national level, gaining representative honours, scholarships to university and places at drama, art and music colleges. Matches, plays and concerts give pupils the chance to learn through competition and performance. Inter-house competition forges collective identity and gives some less confident performers the chance to shine.

Active and curious learners, Bradfield pupils engage in the broadest imaginable variety of activity and stretch themselves academically, creatively and physically. All our pupils are encouraged to develop existing talents and to discover new passions, often taking the lead in establishing and running clubs and societies. 

Across all aspects of College life pupils have the opportunity to experience and be part of a culture of high performance which is fostered by outstanding teachers, coaches and facilities. Our pupils are encouraged to develop their individual interests and to follow individual pathways to their academic and personal goals. Support and advice, particularly around effective time management, create a culture where the pursuit of excellence is central to pupil development.
