House on the Hill ‘D’ is a senior boarding house of 56 boys. The resident Housemaster, Shelvin Gumbs, is supported by a team of six tutors and two matrons, Carolyn Harrison and Sarah Kaiser.
The ethos of the House is that each boy should aim to make the most of their abilities and to make full use of the opportunities available to them in their time at Bradfield. With a strong commitment towards academic drive and a history of sporting success, the House is full of boys who contribute fully to the life of the College.
