As we start 2024, the St Andrew’s link, which will take pupils from the heart of the main College into the reconfigured and inspirational learning space, is nearing completion. The golden hue of the zinc cladding mirrors the warmth of the sandstone used in the main St Andrew’s building and provides a welcoming entry point into the new building.
More good news is that the St Andrew’s Matched Giving campaign, launched on St Andrew’s Day, succeeded in raising more than £200,000 in matched funds for the project. Due to the matching, all donations made a very real difference and we were delighted to receive individual gifts that started from £5 and reached £20,000, before Gift Aid. In all, 37 alumni and 36 parents donated to the appeal, including 34 first-time donors. This was a tremendous achievement and the College would like to warmly thank those parents, alumni, former parents, staff and former staff who made gifts as well as of course our anonymous donors, without whom we could obviously not have achieved so much.
For those still interested in making a gift, it is very much still possible to do so, and donor recognition options eg ‘See your name on Glass’ are still available read more…
