Bradfield continues to refine its pastoral care offering with the introduction of a new Peer Mentoring Scheme.
Bradfield prides itself on being a talking school and the new scheme will supplement our strong infrastructure, which includes in-house listeners, counsellors, a medical centre and a psychotherapist. Many of our staff trained in Mental Health First Aid and our broad Wellbeing programme includes weekly lessons and workshops for pupils and even workshops for parents.
More than 25 pupils, predominantly from the Lower Sixth, have received training from our designated Mental Health First Aid instructors and will placed in boarding houses and classrooms this term to listen to pupils if they have any concerns or would simply like someone to talk to.
We look forward to expanding the scheme in the new academic year.
