By day, Blundells, also known as ‘Dells’ is used as a pupil hangout. A place to get some tasty hot paninis and cool iced coffees. All ages stroll across the beautiful Max and Major pitches to buy all sorts of snacks.
When the sun is out, flocks of pupils come out to enjoy the sunshine and play football on the grass. Music is played and all year groups come to enjoy the company of the lovely Karen who works in the café.
Dells truly is a place to relax on hot days and warm up with a hot chocolate during the winter. A place outside of house where both boys and girls can come to hang out and chat away from academic work.
Dells truly captures what pupil life is like at Bradfield. All pupils come to relax whenever they have a spare hour in their day. Dells is the place to be.

Major Pavilion more commonly known as ‘Dells’ is the school café during the day where we all go to socialise and stock up on pizza and freshly baked pastries.
By night, Dell’s turns into the Sixth Form bar, a perfect place to grab a beer or a glass of wine with friends on a Tuesday or Thursday night and relax. Throughout the year Dells is used to hold a plethora of events from karaoke nights to inter-house socials.
In my opinion, the best part about Dells is that it is Sixth Form entry only in the evenings and is one of the few places at the College where both Lower and Upper Sixth can socialise together.
Dells as a whole is a really unique bonus to Bradfield and is always the best place to catch up with friends after a long and busy day at school.
