In the Lent Term, a group of cadets went on a challenging field exercise at Bramley Training Area. During the weekend cadets completed day and night-time patrols, camped out in the woods and executed a number of blank firing attacks. Back in Bradfield the Sixth Form Cadets have led a second term of training with our Shell Cadets, with the aim of developing teamwork and resilience. Year 11 Cadets have been focused on field craft and enjoyed a number of imaginative exercises in the school grounds. A new cohort of RAF Cadets have been training hard, hopefully in preparation for some flying experience in the coming months. A new initiative with a small group of Year 9 pupils has been very successful and hopefully will enable these pupils to gain early inclusion into senior cadet training. Other highlights of the term were the CCF IV Form Dinner and a fun evening at an Indoor Airsoft Centre.
