On Sunday (28 April), staff and their young children took part in an Easter Egg Hunt and a series of challenges to raise money for the Southampton Hospital Charity.

Following a donation of £2 per child, families competed against one another in events such as painting hard-boiled eggs, an egg and spoon race and egg rolling game for chocolatey prizes.

In total, they raised £110.96 for toys and games for children at the hospital undergoing difficult medical procedures.

The day could not have gone ahead without the hard work and organisation of our pupils. Christina (M), one of the pupils responsible for running the events said:

“This has encouraged us to be creative in coming up with the day and organised in getting everything ordered and set up. It was great to see the kids having fun and we are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to make even just a small difference to the children at the hospital.”
